Nestled within the Caldes de Malavella golf course on Catalonia’s Costa Brava, this resort hotel features 50 rooms and common areas. It is situated on an irregular five-sided plot, bordered to the east and south by land designated for the golf course's sports facilities.
The new structure is designed as a perfect circular arc in plan, with its center aligned along the north-south axis of the site and slightly tilted westward. This curved geometry ensures optimal and evenly distributed sunlight for all hotel rooms while maintaining the privacy of the terraces. At the same time, it provides uninterrupted views of the golf course, enhancing the connection between interior and exterior spaces.
The ground and first floors house the hotel’s 50 rooms (25 on each level), arranged in a fan-like layout with terraces facing east. Access to the rooms is provided via an exterior corridor along the opposite façade. The lower ground floor completes the program with a bar/restaurant, a covered terrace with a pool, kitchens, parking, staff areas, and technical rooms.
